JOIN OUR FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE!

We are forming a Fundraising Committee of dedicated volunteers, participant families and constituents who are invested in Pony Power’s sustainability and future.

Members of the committee will play a key role in helping to ensure our financial health and longevity. Working alongside Pony Power's staff and board, the committee will play a supporting role in annual fundraising campaigns and events which constitute a significant portion of our annual budget.


How can you help as a committee member?

 
  • Be an ambassador! Tell friends and associates about Pony Power and invite them to the farm for a tour or to attend an event.

  • Make connections to family foundations or corporations whose grant-making priorities align with our mission.

  • There is no minimum financial contribution expected. The primary goal is increase awareness and deepen connections in the community.

 

We are hoping to create a large committee, at least 20, to ensure a broad reach. As the saying goes, “many hands make light work.”

Time commitment & support from Pony Power

Meetings will be quarterly and can be attended virtually or in person. The first meeting will be March 14 at 12:30pm (attend in-person or virtually). To start, our staff will equip you with an understanding of our expenses and revenues to give you a better understanding of our yearly targets and long range goals.

In between meetings, staff are available to you as a resource, to answer questions, brainstorm or schedule farm tours.
